Shunters is known in Berwick and across the Borders for its quality of service at a low cost. Shunters has been operating out of Berwick for over 30 years, and continues to provide a friendly, flexible national transport service from the north Northumberland area.
A Limited Company since 2013, our main aim is to provide a reliable and professional service. We have a fleet of versatile, modern vehicles, capable of transporting a huge range of consignments. Our vehicles have custom built bodies for removals and are all kitted out with top of the range removals equipment.
For part loads, we are able to keep costs down by scheduling various deliveries and collections along the route, so that the cost of the run is shared. For larger consignments, or if you need something collected or delivered on a specific date, we can quote for a dedicated run.

If you are moving house, we recognise that this is a stressful process, and we endeavour to provide a friendly service to minimise additional worry. Local removals can be priced by the hour or on a fixed price, whereas longer distance removals are normally quoted following a visit to assess the volume of furniture and boxes.
Our friendly team assesses each move individual to scope out the customers needs and provide a package that is suitable. We have a service level to suit every budget.

With vehicles ranging from an 18 tonne rigid lorry to a standard panel van we have the right tool for the job. Our fleet is versatile and can be used across a range of purposes. We also provide storage, and our vehicles are optimised to ensure a seamless journey.
